GJ/Fruita in Spring
Just back from a weekend in Fruita and Junction. Started with a 4:30 AM Saturday departure from Ridgway to make it down to Junction for the COPMOBA bike swap. What a great event! Met lot’s of nice people and we sold off alot of old stuff that had accumulated over our 5 years in business. After that it was time to enjoy the sunny/70 degree temps here and we made out way over to Rustlers loop in Fruita with our 5 year old boy (Kalden). He did the whole loop (about 4 miles) and had a blast. After a night in the hotel we headed out to rip a lap on Western Rim in the morning. I dropped Jen off there and headed back over to Rustlers with Kalden so he could ride it again. He tore it up this time and I was very impressed! Next Jen and I did “the swap” and it was my turn for Western Rim. Had a blast but man were there a lot of people out there. Saw Chris Carmichael and about 20 riders from the “Honey Stinger” team.
Anyway, great weekend and looking forward to next. Maybe Moab again!
